13th International Specialist Conference in D\u00fcsseldorf<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Frank Meyer, born on 6 March 1940 in Leipzig, joined Bergbau-Forschung GmbH Essen as a chemist after completing his studies in chemistry at the University of G\u00f6ttingen, with the possibility of a doctorate, which was awarded in 1969 at the University of M\u00fcnster. He then worked as a scientific assistant on general research tasks in organic and technical chemistry before being appointed head of the working group “Reactive synthetic resins in mining” in 1971. In 1974 he was entrusted with the management of the experimental plant for the production of polyurethane systems for rock consolidation. In 1978 he was appointed deputy head of the chemistry department and in 1980 he was appointed head of the chemical plants in the mining association GmbH and at the same time granted power of attorney for the mining association.<\/p>\n

The achievement of the award-winner is that he has rendered outstanding services to the introduction of PUR foam plastics in underground mining.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
