The Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes Association (FSK) is extending the deadline for applications for the 2022 Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes Innovation Award. In addition, innovative ideas, forward-looking concepts and sustainable new developments will also be honoured in the sustainability category for the first time in 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stuttgart, 02.09.2021<\/em> –\u00a0 Since 1998, the Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes Association (FSK e.V.) has been awarding its annual Innovation Award.\u00a0 For 22 years, it was awarded in the categories of design and creation as well as technology (processing and chemistry). In 2022, applicants for the Innovation Award have the opportunity to submit products and innovations related to materials in the category “Sustainability” for the first time. The FSK Innovation Award 2022 is
\nintended to inspire young industry professionals to submit concrete and sustainable innovations or future concepts in the material areas of foam plastics and polyurethanes. In order to motivate applicants and give them more time to carefully prepare the application documents, the FSK is extending the application deadline by three weeks from 08 to 31 October 2021<\/strong>. The application documents are available from the FSK office. In addition, they can be downloaded directly from the website of the professional association: www.fsk-vsv.de\/en\/fsk-innovationspreis<\/a>. A jury of experts selected by the FSK will review and evaluate all applications received. The jury evaluates the submitted projects of young professionals as well as professionals and companies independently of each other, to ensure a fair and proper assessment as well as awarding according to level of knowledge and experience. In addition to the degree of novelty, the evaluation criteria include the innovative strength of the submitted projects and concepts, their sustainability as well as their expected competitiveness on the market. competitiveness on the market. The award ceremony will\u00a0take place on 26 January 2022 during the International FSK Specialist Conference on Polyurethanes and Foam Plastics in Dortmund. The winners in the area of young professionals of the Innovation Award Foams and Polyurethanes will be rewarded with prize money worth up to 3,000 euros, depending on their placement.
