Innovations, presentations, contacts and trends \u2013 This is the motto of the International FSK Specialist Conference Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes 2022, which will be held in Dortmund on 13 and 14 September 2022. It is the leading industry event with a top-class audience where people can exchange ideas and network.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stuttgart, 02 February 2022<\/em> \u2013<\/em> The Specialist Association Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes (FSK) offers participants thought-provoking presentations by industry experts, innovations and discussions about foam plastics and polyurethanes at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dortmund. This time, the FSK\u2019s customary evening event will be at the Brauturm at the Dortmunder U. Other highlights of the two-day conference programme include the Innovation Award ceremony and an out of the ordinary tour of the Atlas shoe factory in Dortmund.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The technical presentations will focus on sustainability, the circular economy, artificial intelligence and flame protection. On the first day of the conference, a panel discussion will address the topic \u201cCircular economy \u2013 re-sorted?\u201d The FSK will conclude the first day of the conference with the ceremony presenting the FSK Innovation Award Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes 2022, honouring exciting and innovative projects and products from young professionals and experts from the industry.<\/p>\n

In addition to expert presentations, the specialist association will also present the FSK training platform at the 2022 conference. The platform is designed to train users and distributors in the safe handling of diisocyanates within the framework of the REACH restriction on diisocyanates.<\/p>\n

At the end of the conference, the participants are invited to a factory tour of the ATLAS Schuhfabrik GmbH & Co.KG (shoe company) in Dortmund, with insights into the organisation, logistics and production.<\/p>\n
