This course is a further addition to the FSK&#8217;s comprehensive training programme on the safe handling of diisocyanates in accordance with European standards. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Stuttgart, 5 September 2022<\/em> \u2013 The Specialist Association Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes has for well over a year already been successfully training companies, self-employed persons, craft businesses and other professional groups in the safe handling of diisocyanates in a REACH-compliant manner. The hazardous substances training courses are available as online and classroom training and cover almost all applications involving diisocyanate contact. The training courses comply with European requirements \u2013 this is also guaranteed by the certificate at the end of each completed training unit.<\/p>\n<p>The FSK has added another course to its training range to complete the training programme. From September 2022, the new &#8220;Course 03: Handling open mixtures at ambient temperatures&#8221; will be available on the platform and as classroom training.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is another step in supporting all professional and industrial users and distributors of diisocyanates to comply with their obligation under REACH. All affected employees must be trained by 24 August 2023 at the latest&#8221;, explains Nil\u00fcfer Bozkurt-Thielscher, FSK contact person for training. &#8220;This training course covers the direct handling of diisocyanates, as a substance or in mixtures, e.g., during decanting, provisioning or mixing, and when directly processing open mixtures.
