A whole bundle of activities of the FSK also includes the innovation awards, which we would like to use above all to reward young talents (students and graduates, doctoral students, etc.) for their ideas and successful Projects.
The FSK Innovation Award Polyurethane and the Innovation Award Foamed Plastics are deliberately not limited to students, but would also like to honour designers and young engineers or their employers for successful and innovative developments that can be found on the market for no longer than a year. Students receive prize money, companies are honoured.
It is precisely the versatility and design options of these materials that offer young engineers and designers a wide scope for new ideas and applications. Furthermore, no expensive forms and machines are needed for experiments. Issues such as recycling and the environment also play an important role in the competition for innovation awards.
