Compliance & Code of Conduct

We stand for responsible and fair conduct in competition and live social and ethical principles in the industry! Join in!

Awareness of fair business relationships and the growing global demand for products and services that meet environmental protection and fair working conditions require clear statements and public commitments from the industry. In particular medium-sized companies are confronted with increasing compliance requirements and risks.

A code of conduct helps companies to integrate responsible action in accordance with social and ethical principles into their own business processes, reduce liability risks and strengthen their competitive position.

As an association of the foamed plastics and polyurethane industry, the FSK offers a compliance and code of conduct that is designed as a voluntary commitment and can be used and enhanced by the member companies. Since the FSK is the supporting association of the German Association of Plastics Converters (GKV), its member companies are also bound to the GKV Code of Conduct with additional compliance certification of the companies via the GKV.

Fachverband Schaumkunststoffe und Polyurethane e.V.

Together with its member companies, the FSK has developed a Compliance and Code of Conduct to define minimum standards for the correct handling of competition law as well as compliance with ethical and social principles in business processes. This Association Code of Conduct was adopted at the FSK General Assembly in 2014.

The use of the German Association of the Plastics Converters (GKV) Code of Conduct strengthens the credibility of the defined principles through an associated certification procedure. Certified FSK member companies receive a certificate from the German Association of the Plastics Converters (GKV), may use the compliance logo of the German Association of the Plastics Converters (GKV) and can be listed on the website of the German Association of the Plastics Converters (GKV). The certification is free of charge and is performed as part of a self-disclosure. For further information, please contact the FSK
