The Working Committee Environment and Occupational Safety is an expert committee of specialists in the field of corporate environmental protection and occupational safety, some of them with international responsibility. In this working committee, all important topics in this field are dealt with, the exchange of information and experience as well as contact with authorities and ministries is cultivated. The working committee deals with the implementation of new laws and regulations and partially develops implementation guidelines.

Experts from the member companies form this specialist working committee, whose main focus is on corporate environmental protection with its legal framework conditions and occupational safety in the processing companies. The incorporation into international aspects for occupational safety in globally operating companies plays the same central role as the new legislative initiatives on environmental issues at European and national level.
