Comments and contributions
Comments in the blog or other contributions by users are not intended for the FSK e.V. website.

Newsletter
With our newsletters and mailings we provide you with information about us and our offers. If you are interested in receiving the newsletter, we need a valid e-mail address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. Other information is not collected. This information will only be used for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. The only exception from this is the passing on to our subsidiary FSK Services GmbH, insofar as an event or another point of contact with our subsidiary FSK Services GmbH is concerned. When you register for the newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of registration, as well as the information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter (e.g. name and telephone number). This storage serves as proof in the event that a third party misuses an e-mail address and registers for receiving the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorised party. You may revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time.

Integration of Third Party Services and Content
It is possible that third party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third party providers”) are aware of the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the display of this content. We make every effort to use only those contents whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the contents. However, we have no influence on this if the third party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. To the extent that we are aware, we will inform the users about this.

Cookies
Cookies are small files that enable the user’s access device (PC, smartphone, etc.) to store specific information relating to the device. They serve on the one hand the user-friendliness of web pages and thus the users (e.g. storage of login data). On the other hand, they serve to collect statistical data on the use of the website and to be able to analyse them in order to improve the offer. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option with which the storage of cookies is restricted or completely prevented. However, it is pointed out that the use and especially the comfort of use are limited without cookies. You can manage many corporate online ad cookies through the US site https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site https://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/

Google Analytics
This offer uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on the user’s computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by users is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will reduce the IP addresses of users within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website by the users, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide the website operator with further services associated with the use of the website and the Internet.

The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. Users may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on their browser. However, this offer points out to users that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. Users can also prevent Google from collecting data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website (including their IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
You can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set to prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website: Disable Google Analytics. For more information on terms of use and data protection, please visit www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/. Please note that the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” has been added to Google Analytics on this website to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and the double-click cookie for statistical purposes. If you do not want this to happen, you can disable it using the Ads Preferences Manager (https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=en).

Use of Social Media Plugins

  • This offer does not use mechanisms with which information automatically flows to the providers of social media services (social plug-ins) when you visit our offer.

Any forwarding to providers of social media services such as Youtube, Facebook etc. takes place exclusively via link, so that data about your visit to our website (e.g. IP address, time, URL) or data available on your terminal device (e.g. cookie information) are only transmitted to the respective providers when the link is deliberately used.

  • YouTube

For the integration of videos our site uses the provider YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.  Normally when you visit an embedded video page, your IP address is sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer. However, we have included our YouTube videos in the enhanced privacy mode (in which case YouTube will still contact Google’s Double Click service, but Google’s privacy policy does not evaluate personal information). As a result, YouTube no longer stores information about visitors unless they watch the video. When you click on the video, your IP address will be transmitted to YouTube and YouTube will know that you have watched the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information will also be associated with your user account (you can prevent this by logging out before viewing the video on YouTube).

We have no knowledge of and no influence on the possible collection and use of your data by YouTube. Further information can be found in the data protection declaration.
