Besides the extensive range of products for industry experts, the specialist trade fair offered numerous business contacts for users from the building, sports, aviation and automotive industries. FSK members such as Albrecht Bäumer GmbH & Co. KG, BOSIG GmbH, Cardolite Specialty Chemicals Europe NV, Everad Klebstoffe SAS, Jiffy Packaging Sp. z o.o. or Sekisui Alveo, to name a few were also present and benefited from the expert exchange at the trade fair for foamed materials. “After the long interruption due to the pandemic, it was important for the specialist association to be on-site at the Foam Expo 2021 and, in addition to exchanging ideas with its member companies, to make multiple new contacts. We also focused on presenting the new FSK learning platform with the Europe-wide standardised training content for the safe handling of diisocyanates. Until the legal training deadline in 2023, we are offering all affected users and distributors of diisocyanates safe and free access to the learning content via the FSK platform”, noted Klaus Junginger, Managing Director of the FSK. The Foam Expo Europe conference was held parallel to the exhibition and focused on industry topics such as optimising manufacturing processes, current market trends, regulatory changes and promoting circular economy and sustainability within the supply chain.
