The Specialist Association Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes (FSK) is now calling for entries for the 2022 Innovation Award Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes. Junior and senior professionals, and specialists and companies, are invited to submit innovative ideas, future-oriented concepts and new developments in the field of foamed plastics and polyurethanes.
Stuttgart, 21.07.2021 – The Specialist Association Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes (FSK) aims to promote young industry professionals and motivate them to submit new ideas, concepts and developments. The FSK Innovation Award is presented once a year in the categories “Technology” and “Design and Construction” in the material areas of foamed plastics and polyurethanes. The specialist association has expanded its application categories and, for the first time, offers applicants for the Innovation Award in 2022 the opportunity to submit products and innovations related to materials in the category “Sustainability”. Individuals and groups from universities and companies across Europe can submit applications until 08 October 2021. Entries from junior professionals and senior professionals or companies will be judged and awarded separately to ensure fair and proper evaluation and to ensure that awards are presented in accordance with the level of knowledge and experience. The evaluation is carried out by a jury of experts selected by the FSK. The criteria are the newness and the innovative power of the submitted products and solutions and their market and competitive ability. Application documents can be requested from the FSK office or downloaded from its website. The award ceremony will take place in Dortmund on 26 January 2022 as part of the International FSK Specialist Conference Polyurethanes and Foamed Plastics. The winners in the category of junior professionals can receive additional cash prizes of up to 3,000 Euros to establish their innovations on the market.
