On 13 September 2023 the German Specialist Association for Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes (Fachverband Schaumkunststoffe und Polyurethane – FSK e.V.) and its member company Hennecke GmbH in St. Augustin will be holding the second FSK workshop in the “Polyurethanes for Beginners” series this year. The first workshop was fully booked within a few days – early registration is therefore recommended.

Stuttgart, 21.03.2023 – This year, the FSK is offering two of its popular beginners’ workshops together with its member companies. The first will take place on 4 May 2023 at Dow Deutschland Anlagengesellschaft mbH in Ahlen and is already fully booked. Due to the high demand, the association is already opening the registration phase for the next FSK workshop “Polyurethanes for Beginners” at Hennecke GmbH in St. Augustin, which will take place on 13 September 2023.

“We are extremely pleased that the interest in our beginners’ workshops remains high even after the Corona break. The first workshop this year at Dow Germany was fully booked within a few days. We are pleased to be able to hold a second workshop at Hennecke GmbH. The workshops are so well received because they really give a unique insight into the theory of the material. Thanks to the great demonstrations in the technical centre at Hennecke GmbH, polyurethane can also be experienced at first hand on this day. The participants can expect impressive and instructive hours. It is really great that our members always willingly run the workshops and take on this effort. We as an association and all participants are very grateful for this!” says FSK Managing Director Klaus Junginger.

Registrations are now only possible via the registration tool. It is highly recommended to register quickly. Because the number of participants is limited and the popular workshops are always booked up quickly. The FSK’s materials workshops are aimed at a broad audience. Anyone who wants to learn more about polyurethanes and gain live insights into chemistry can participate. Participants therefore include students, designers, young professionals, processors and people interested in the industry who, in addition to an introduction to the fields of application and chemical basics of polyurethane chemistry, would like to experience the production of polyurethane parts first-hand in the laboratory and pilot plant. The workshop will take place on 13 September 2023 and is free of charge for students and university staff. As the number of participants is limited, timely registration via the FSK online tool is essential.
